Why your website doesn't sell (and how to fix it)

1. It takes more than 3 seconds to load

Google is clear about this: every extra second of load time increases abandonment. If your site takes 5 seconds to show content on a phone with an average connection, you've lost half your visitors before they even saw your offer.

3. It talks about you, not the customer's problem

"We are a leading company with 20 years of experience..." — nobody cares. Visitors arrive with a problem and want to know, in seconds, whether you solve it.

Flip the formula: the customer's problem first, your solution second, your credibility last — as evidence.

4. It doesn't exist for Google

Without technical SEO — structured data, sitemap, proper metadata, content that answers real searches — your site is a store on a street with no traffic. The best time to fix it was when it was built; the second best time is today.

5. Traffic arrives... and nobody follows up

This is the most expensive one. Someone fills out your form and you reply 3 days later — they already bought elsewhere. Follow-up automation (instant response, lead qualification, reminders) is where a website goes from "digital brochure" to sales system.
